i already read the first volume of this via wheresthatbeen, but i passed in on to a friend in taiwan, so the rest of you locals are out of luck on vol 1 right now. this continues where the first one left off. the artwork is in black and white. it doesn't amaze me, but it's good. i do like that they tend to draw zombies from all walks of (their pre-zombie) life. the premise of trying to show how different people deal with a very harrowing and mind-boggling shift in the world they know provides lots of room for writing about conflict, self-doubt, self-realization, despair, etc. i still don't think it's top-notch or anything, but it's a fairly solid and interesting read.
